Thank you for your interest in our cats and kittens. Please complete the form below if you would like more information about our cats or kittens or would like to be placed on our waiting list.
1) Declawing is prohibited on all Selella cats and kittens. Declawing is the amputation of all or part of the distal phalanges (end bones). The claws alone cannot be removed without amputating the bone. Proper nail trimming and providing your cats with appropriate scratching surfaces eliminates the need for such a procedure.
2) All kittens are required to be spayed or neutered by 6 months of age. We do not alter our kittens because the breeds we work with often do not tolerate the anesthesia well until 6 months of age. Also, there is research to support that pediatric neutering and spaying can interfere with normal growth and development. Registration paperwork will not be provided until proof of altering is provided by a veterinarian.
3) If the intended family has not visited their cat/kitten prior to adoption, at least one member of the family must be present on Adoption Day. Under no circumstances will we sell a cat or kitten to a second party or persons sent on behalf of another individual without having previously met the intended parent or family in person.
4) We are located about 45 minutes north of Pittsburgh, PA in a small town called Harmony. Per USDA regulations, we do not offer shipping on our cats/kittens as sight-unseen. Shipping arrangements can only be made with adoptive parents/families who have personally met us and their cat/kitten prior to purchase. You will need to make the arrangements to come to our home either prior to adoption to be approved for shipping or pick up your cat/kitten in person on adoption day.
